ONBOARDING CHECKLIST

Request Contracting
Submit your contracting request to get appointed with Medicare carriers through the RIL FMO portal.

Complete AHIP Certification
Required annual certification to sell Medicare Advantage plans. Must be completed every year before AEP.

Carrier Training & RTS Status
Log into each carrier's portal via CMS to complete training and achieve Ready-to-Sell (RTS) status. Certifications must be completed after you receive your carrier appointment.
Certifications must be completed AFTER you receive your carrier appointment — not before.

Setup Sunfire Account
Create your free Sunfire account to quote Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and PDP plans and enroll clients seamlessly.

Quote & Enroll
Use Sunfire or MedicareCENTER to compare plans side-by-side, quote benefits, and complete enrollments for clients.

Contact Your Support Team
Reach out to your assigned support contact for onboarding assistance, marketing strategy, and AEP preparation.
